About Me

To everyone around me, I seemed to be a fairly happy person with an amazing husband and children, a ”great job”, and also amazing friends. But, behind the smiles, I was battling self-esteem and self-confidence issues.

With all the people that truly loved and cared for me, I still felt all alone. Every time something would not be ”Perfect” I would blame it all on me saying how stupid I was or I wasn’t good enough. I tried to hide the way I felt from my husband, but to him, it was never hidden. He was doing everything to help me see I was more than “Good Enough”, but nothing seemed to work or at least not for long. I was a wave of emotions, one minute I would be happy, then the next I would be angry or sad.

Nothing seemed to take the place of the self-care, authenticity and healthy boundaries I lacked in my life.

I spent the majority of my life not realizing how amazing my life could truly be until I started to wonder where I was getting these beliefs about myself and where did they come from. After a lot of soul searching, I started to realize that the way I felt physically, emotionally, and mentally was because of what I was constantly being told as a child. After taking child development in college, medical assisting school and reading tons of self- help books and the love of an incredibly loving husband. I started to live life with more patience, less stress, and for once starting to see…

I am good enough!!

 

These experiences taught me the following:

  • How to create boundaries for myself and over  time reduce the guilt felt by doing so.                           
  •  How to hear what my intuition sounded like so that I could hear my own voice instead of always asking others what I should be doing.
  • How to create healthy coping skills to keep me feeling at peace more and more each day no matter what obstacles come my way. 
  • How to create organization in my life and not allow my emotions to 100% dictate my life while still acknowledging and creating space for them. 
  • How to believe that I was worth something and vocalize that so I could put myself out into the world in a positive way. 
  • How to differentiate between fears, past trauma, and real dangers in my life
